Simple Cellphone for Seniors

   Simple Cellphone for Seniors

Smart phones and most other phones are complicated and very intimidating.Like most seniors, I'm into my mid 70s and, though
not quite helpless, need a simple operable phone. Most seniors do have a good grasp of the technology but,and here's the problem,we seniors as we get old, eyesight, arthritis etc. do come into play.

There's a vast market out there for seniors and the next generation, it would be imprudent for phone developers to ignore that fact, and develop phones that meet these needs.

Easy To Handle And Be At Home With It.

Features To Includes:

 Buttons: Large

 Menus  :Made Simple To Read

 Speaker:Loud

 Battery :Longer Life

 Operator service :Be Made Available

Camera:It Is A Must To Capture The Moment.

  Display and Navigation

The mass market cell phones are for most, very challenging and at best confusing for seniors. When designing smart phones,
they must have 'Senior Citizens' in mind which includes big buttons with large display fonts that are backlit.Simple
yes/no that do away with confusion and, creates easy and trouble-free navigation.

 No Contract

Freedom of choice must be given when buying, so that one is not bound to some contract for the rest of their remaining years.

It must be stressed here that to have a 'Smart Phone' for seniors is not for the 'freedom' to fleece them  of their hard
earned money by some companies. Yes  I have read of complaints from seniors customers of the way they were treated and have
switched back to the main stream.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to re-vamp and do some re-think to adopt the old 'dial' system for simplicity.

Understandably, the bottom line is what drives most or all things now days but, can you imagine that one day each of us(if we live longer)

will be old and will have needs that are to be addressed.Today,we communicate more often, physically if we are able but, to some

that option is gone and the only other alternative is by phone. This article is not to go down the path of the "Welfare System".

All that the seniors ask is to be given a system market based but, without any service providers' closed and encumbered contract services.

Thrifty mobile users can also avoid being tied down to a specific contract. iPhones and Android devices are the two most common unlocked

unlocked cell phones out there today. There are many advantages to unlocked cell phones that the members of the family could tap into.

All that seniors are asking from cell phones developers is to give them freedom that the open and unlocked phones have without any extra features.Just Basic Phone, Period.
