We have come to accept 'tek' to mean 'tech' short for 'tecnology' and
have taken this for granted to be just that and move on.
Funnily enough, there's lot out there who give a damn. These are the
people whose noses are so fixed to the ground to smell out the dirty rats (pardon the pun to my friends) who tried to circumvent the protocol.
Have you tried using 'teknology to pass for technology?' Yes, I've done it many times with different word combinations and was quickly and politely asked 'Do you mean...?'
We have progressed significantly in terms of technology but, the way we communicate in this fast paced new world needs drastic change.
I am not harping on here without acknowledging the 'Purists' that keep us in the straights when we go astray.
Come on you guys, I find it absolutely fitting to use the word 'teknology' instead of 'technology' and most people now days are familiar with this and are accepting it.
New words combinations have been seen so commonly today without flinching an eyelid:
Words that are pre-fixed by the word 'new'. For example-'newtek 'and, you can add more.
Newtek or newtech? That is the question.
